Creating Central Services

ABCUL’s back office project covers several different initiatives, from a centralised banking and accounting platform, to credit referencing and new products.

These separate initiatives are linked by a common purpose: the strengthening of the credit union movement.

We’ve included a number of developments in the project, each based on research into the UK and overseas credit union sectors, as well as on feedback from our members. The diagram below illustrates the key components.
