Hoot Credit Union is a member-owned financial services co-operative serving the people of Bolton
and Bury. Hoot offers savings accounts and affordable loans to its members, and aims to provide
products and services aimed at improving the financial well-being of its members.The Chief Executive is responsible to the Board of Directors for the effective leadership and direction
of the organisation, oversight of the proper making of loan decisions and legal matters related to
debt recovery, and all day to day operations ensuring delivery of excellent customer service and
long-term viability.What’s involved?
- Supporting and developing Hoot’s Board of Directors.
- Ensuring that Hoot’s systems and procedures work at their most efficient and in the interests of
Hoot’s members. - The establishment of policies which promote Hoot’s culture and vision.
- Leading others effectively in such a way that encourages development, maximum performance
and engagement. - The fair treatment of Hoot’s members.

Business Analyst/Project Manager
Bradford District Credit UnionSalary: £27,500 (FTE)
Hours: 5 days per week (part time or reduced hours considered)
Job Description:
- Undertakes business process analysis in conjunction with operational / non-operational departments. Identifies, agrees and implements process improvements via coherent modelling and implementation planning. Able to work proactively with functions and lead activities to map current processes and capture future requirements.
- Responsible for the creation of new projects, producing the project plan, aligning to the approved strategic plan, setting goals and objectives, defining roles and producing schedules and timelines for tasks. Will manage the project, coordinating the project team to keep them on track and ensuring the project is delivered within the agreed time/cost/quality parameters.
- To work closely with the Leads of the other functional areas ensuring collaborative working and successful delivery of all projects is achieved in a well planned and delivered way.
- To support Management and Board of Directors and promote the delivery of an excellent service in accordance with professional standards, legislative requirements and Bradford District Credit Union policies and procedures.
- To communicate in an informed, confident, polite and understanding manner with all stakeholders, internally and externally.

Chief Operating Officer
Bradford District Credit UnionSalary: £35,000
Hours: 4 days per week (29 hours)
Job Description:
- Ensure credit union operations run fluently and effectively and are in compliance with FCA/PRA and all other relevant regulations.
- Identify products that will benefit our members and that will assist in providing a competitive range of services including appropriate support to financially excluded communities.
- Develop risk based pricing in accordance with product development and associated credit union policies.
- Provide regular reviews of our systems developing and improving them in the best interest of members.
- Line management responsibility for Loans and Member Services with support to the wider team and ensuring training and development plans are in place and are being delivered.
- Responsible for ensuring day to day governance and compliance matters are being responded to in line with policies and procedures and these themselves are kept relevant to BDCU and continually in line with regulations.
- Support the CEO and Board of Directors and promote the delivery of an excellent service in accordance with professional standards, legislative requirements and Bradford District Credit Union policies and procedures.
- Build relationships of trust, communicate in an informed, confident, polite and understanding manner with all credit union stakeholders, internal and external.

Salary: £22,000- £25,000
Location: Burnley branch, with possibility of working from branches in Nelson and Colne. Regular travel to meetings and events in other locations: across East Lancashire, Cumbria and Preston, with overnight stays.
