Business Analyst/Project Manager
Bradford District Credit UnionSalary: £27,500 (FTE)
Hours: 5 days per week (part time or reduced hours considered)
Job Description:
- Undertakes business process analysis in conjunction with operational / non-operational departments. Identifies, agrees and implements process improvements via coherent modelling and implementation planning. Able to work proactively with functions and lead activities to map current processes and capture future requirements.
- Responsible for the creation of new projects, producing the project plan, aligning to the approved strategic plan, setting goals and objectives, defining roles and producing schedules and timelines for tasks. Will manage the project, coordinating the project team to keep them on track and ensuring the project is delivered within the agreed time/cost/quality parameters.
- To work closely with the Leads of the other functional areas ensuring collaborative working and successful delivery of all projects is achieved in a well planned and delivered way.
- To support Management and Board of Directors and promote the delivery of an excellent service in accordance with professional standards, legislative requirements and Bradford District Credit Union policies and procedures.
- To communicate in an informed, confident, polite and understanding manner with all stakeholders, internally and externally.

Chief Operating Officer
Bradford District Credit UnionSalary: £35,000
Hours: 4 days per week (29 hours)
Job Description:
- Ensure credit union operations run fluently and effectively and are in compliance with FCA/PRA and all other relevant regulations.
- Identify products that will benefit our members and that will assist in providing a competitive range of services including appropriate support to financially excluded communities.
- Develop risk based pricing in accordance with product development and associated credit union policies.
- Provide regular reviews of our systems developing and improving them in the best interest of members.
- Line management responsibility for Loans and Member Services with support to the wider team and ensuring training and development plans are in place and are being delivered.
- Responsible for ensuring day to day governance and compliance matters are being responded to in line with policies and procedures and these themselves are kept relevant to BDCU and continually in line with regulations.
- Support the CEO and Board of Directors and promote the delivery of an excellent service in accordance with professional standards, legislative requirements and Bradford District Credit Union policies and procedures.
- Build relationships of trust, communicate in an informed, confident, polite and understanding manner with all credit union stakeholders, internal and external.

Job Description:
Providing leadership, direction and management of the Unify Credit Union “UCU” to ensure it meets the Business Objectives as agreed with the Board of the UCU within the framework of prevailing regulations.
The successful operation and development of the Credit Union and promoting, developing, and delivering the Credit Union’s business plans, products and services to ensure ongoing improvements to member services. The CEO will be expected to develop networks and activities to maximise UCU’s opportunities and corporate image within its operating area.
The CEO will be responsible for compliance with all regulatory and financial controls and for maintaining effective working relationships with the Board of Directors.

Project Delivery Manager
Greater Manchester Consortium of Credit Unions – known as GMCUSalary: £37,500 p.a.
Location: Salford Credit Union, Brotherton House, 1 Loganberry Avenue, Salford M6 5UX, on behalf of the Consortium of Credit Unions for Greater Manchester. Day to day line management will be via Salford Credit Union CEO, Mark Brazendale. Accountability will be to the Consortium.
Hours: 37.5 per week worked flexibly – some evening and on rare occasion weekend work may be required for which time off in lieu will be given.
Job Description:
The Consortium has been formed to increase the reach, impact and benefits of Credit Unions through improved collaboration and harnessing additional resources. This role will support the effective working of the Consortium, help promote its work to stakeholders and manage the delivery of Consortium projects. Particular focus will be on the following:
- development, promotion and review of the collective loan product offering
- promoting awareness of the work of the Consortium and wider Credit Union benefits generally
- development of the governance structure
- growth in depth of reciprocal stakeholder relationships
- development of shared services vehicle
