Manager - Cash Box Credit Union

(Fixed Term Contract for up to 3 years)

Salary: £25,743 – 31,344 per annum

In partnership with Cash Box Credit Union, New Charter is looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual to manage a community based Credit Union.

You will need to demonstrate a high commitment to providing excellent management of the service.  Your key responsibilities will be to ensure the successful day to day operation of the Credit Union in line with the business plan, to work with the Board to maintain strategic and policy development and to ensure Best Value in all the services provided to and by the Credit Union.

To be successful in this role you will need to possess good management experience, a detailed understanding of credit unions and the ethos of social enterprise and financial cooperatives. 

Knowledge of regulatory requirements and legislation relevant to credit unions as well as awareness of financial inclusion issues is a must.  There is also a practical requirement to be able to deal with multiple work demands and a strong commitment to our customers.
