ABCUL B2B Toolkit launched

ABCUL has launched a new resource to help credit unions link with employers to serve their staff.
The ABCUL B2B Toolkit was developed by ABCUL’s subsidiary Cornerstone Mutual Services to help credit unions involved in the Credit Union Expansion Project with their B2B (business to business) relationships, specifically around encouraging employers to partner with credit unions and offer payroll deduction for their staff.
The toolkit was created in conjunction with credit unions, including feedback from over 100 people. Research was conducted with both employers and employees to identify and address their needs and concerns regarding a credit union relationship, and the findings suggested consideration of credit union membership more than trebled thanks to the toolkit’s campaign resources.
The toolkit sets out the journey from initial contact, right through to implementing and running a payroll deduction scheme. It contains a guide to the sales process with tips on organising a marketing campaign and tailoring it to each target.
As well as the “how to” guides, the toolkit also includes a raft of eye-catching marketing assets including adverts, posters, document templates, marketing literature and even a handy video to help potential members discover the benefits of joining a credit union.
