Calderdale Credit Union expanding common bond

Calderdale Credit Union is expanding into Kirklees, Huddersfield, next week by opening up a new office. The new office’s central location on Queens Street is designed to restore local access to credit union services.
The new branch is the start of establishing a more visible presence for the credit union. Local feedback and research has indicated that Kirklees residents are eager for the services of a credit union to return to the area and Calderdale Credit Union is confident that it offers the right balance of products and services to the local community.
Calderdale’s population currently stands at 193,732 and of this figure, 44,000 are young people. This highlights the potential to increase the number of junior savers potentially to around 250,000.
This also presents options to offer services to employees through payroll deduction schemes.
